After working in pairs to design the core aspects of the game, we were to provide the implementation (using this design), individually. In the game, the Player controls a hover-tank, with the objective of collecting 20 Energy Capsules (which they must find), whilst knocking barrels aside, navigating around obstacles (boulders) and avoiding the black coloured Enemy hover-tank, that, if they ram the Player’s hover-tank enough times, will destroy them, causing the Player to lose the game. This project proved difficult, as I had to learn DirectX11 from the beginning, before implementing the features for this game.
